For film clubs, friends, families, and small communities
Instead of polling the same chat forever, collect up to 30 serious candidates in one room. Each participant privately ranks or vetoes the list; reveal returns one pick, two backups, and the reason the pick won.

Everyone can add films from Wikidata, but the room stops at 30 titles. A bounded list prevents another infinite recommendation thread.
Private votes reduce the social cost of saying no to a popular suggestion. The result still shows a plain-language method rather than exposing a person’s ballot.
A title with any veto is removed. Among the remaining titles, the room uses the lowest average rank from submitted rankings, then uses the number of submitted rankings and the title name to make ties deterministic. That is a transparent consensus heuristic, not a review score or a promise that the group will love the film.
Rooms expire after seven days. The product stores no names, email addresses, or chat messages. Links go to Wikidata for title information; there are no piracy or streaming-service links.
The MVP has no artificial participant cap, but the experience is designed for a small group. Each room accepts up to 30 candidate titles.
No. There is no host override: participants use anonymous room tokens and the room reveals only the calculated result.
The room reports that there are no eligible titles. Add another candidate and vote again before revealing.
